The Hotel Slavija is located inside the Diokletian Palace, which is 1700 years old and protected by the UNESCO. It is included in the register of the worlds cultural heritage.

The hotel was first opened in 1900, which makes it the oldest hotel in Split.

Our hotel is located in Dioklecians palace so there are lot of interesting things to see. The main square called Peristil, the centre of Palace, is 1700 years old. On the square there is also the Cathedral of St.Duje, He was protector of Split. you can climb to the top of cathedral (60m) and enjoy beautiful view of Split. There is also the Roman Mausoleum which is under ground, Etnographic museum, Art gallery and city museum also in the palace, Jupiter temple.
